Don’t know it? Ask your IT team, or open Smack in your browser and choose Download desktop app from the menu.
Opening Smack the first time.
- Mac
- The first time you open Smack, macOS may block it because it was downloaded from the web. Open System Settings › Privacy & Security and choose Open Anyway.
- Windows
- If SmartScreen shows a warning the first time, choose More info, then Run anyway.
After you install.
Open Smack.
Enter your company’s Smack address.
Sign in and allow notifications.
For IT.
- Same files, your server.
- Installers live at
/downloads/desktopon your Smack server. - Updates.
- The apps check that feed and update from it.
