Big files out.
Nothing handed to a third party.

Drop files or a whole folder, set a password and an expiry, and send a link. Recipients download from your storage, on a page with your company’s name.

Files stay in your bucket. Links expire when you say.1

Overview

Uploads that survive Wi-Fi.

Files upload in parallel, straight to storage, with pause and resume.

A clean page for the client.

Recipients see who sent it, how big it is and when it expires, and download one file or everything as a zip, with no account.

Know when it arrived.

My transfers shows downloads per recipient. Extend it, expire it now, or change the password.

HOW IT WORKS

Send big files to a client.

  1. 01

    New transfer.

Open Transfers and choose New transfer.

  2. 02

    Add files.

Drop files or a folder, or use Add folder.

  3. 03

    Lock it.

Turn on Protect with a password and choose 7 days.

FOR ADMINS

What admins control.

Every transfer, visible.
Admins see and revoke every transfer in the company; views and downloads are audit-logged.
Limits.
Set the maximum transfer size, files per transfer and per-person quota.
Expiry options.
Decide who may create links that never expire.
Passwords.
Stored as hashes, with 5 tries per address per 15 minutes.

Use cases

  • HARDWARE

    Firmware to the field.

4.8 GB of firmware and calibration tables to Harbor & Pine, 7-day expiry.

  • DESIGN

    Final assets to the agency.

A folder of exports, password-protected, expires after download.

  • FINANCE

    Year-end files to the auditor.

    Internal-only link, sign-in required.

And so much more.

  • Folders keep their structure
  • Public or internal (sign-in) links
  • Email the link from Smack
  • Expire once every recipient has downloaded
  • Transfer cards in chat
  • Per-file download
How big can a transfer be?

Your admin sets the limit for your install, up to 100 GB per transfer.

Do recipients need an account?

Not for public links. Internal links require signing in to your Smack.

Where are the files stored?

In your S3-compatible bucket, encrypted at rest if your storage provides it.

Can I take a link back?

Yes. Expire it now from My transfers; admins can revoke any transfer.

What does the recipient see?

A page with your company’s name, the sender, the files and the expiry.

SEND IT FROM HOME.
