Attach.
Drag a file into the message box, or press the paperclip.

Open Files.
In the conversation header, open the Files tab.

Narrow it down.
Switch to Files and filter by Hana Kobayashi.

What admins control.
- Storage you pick.
- MinIO on the server, or an S3-compatible bucket such as Backblaze B2.
- Size limit.
- 1 to 100 MB per file, 25 MB by default.
- Access follows membership.
- Download links are signed, short-lived and checked against the conversation’s members.

In the S3-compatible storage you configure: MinIO on your server, or a bucket you already pay for.
What’s the file size limit?
Your admin sets it between 1 and 100 MB per file. For bigger files, use File transfers.
Can people outside a channel open its files?
No. Every download link is checked against the conversation’s members and expires quickly.
Does search include DMs?
Yours, yes. Search covers the conversations you’re a member of.
Are whiteboards in the Files tab?
Saved boards appear under Whiteboards.
