Step 1: Open a DM.
Open a direct message with a colleague in the office.
Step 2: Send via LAN.
Choose + → Send via LAN.
Step 3: Pick the file.
Choose the file. Smack checks you’re on the same network.
Step 4: They accept.
Your colleague presses Accept & save….
Step 5: Done.
Both of you see the progress and then Verified.
That’s it.
The file went desk to desk over your network. The server only introduced you and wrote the audit entry.
